Riverfront activities:  At the Bellaire Marina, you can launch a boat, fish from the dock, enjoy a picnic with a scenic view, or simply watch the river traffic and wildlife.  To reach the marina, turn in at the Professional Complex at 3800 Jefferson St.  Pass the Complex and turn right.  After crossing the railroad tracks, turn right again. Pass the village Water Department and turn left into the marina’s parking lot. The picnic area is south of the parking lot, and the boat ramp to the north.

Museums:  Visit theToy and Plastic Brick Museum (, open seasonally, where you can marvel at the amazing Lego block constructions. At the National Imperial Glass Museum (, also open seasonally, you can learn about the many beautiful glass products once manufactured in Bellaire.

Firemen's Festival: The annual festival sponsored by the Bellaire Volunteer Fire Department takes place each year in late summer. With music, food, rides, games, vendors, and more, there's something for everyone!



Christmas Parade:  The annual Bellaire Christmas Parade usually takes place the first weekend after Thanksgiving (check the “Bellaire Ohio Events” facebook page for the date and time).

Farmers’ Market:  Shop for fresh, locally grown produce (including organic); fresh and dried herbs; pasture-raised meats, eggs, and cheeses; preserves and baked goods; healthy personal care products; and hand crafted items at the Ohio Valley Farmers’ Market, held in Bellaire at the village parking lot on 32nd St., on Saturday mornings from early June through October. A variety of demonstrations, samplings, and special events take place throughout the season. Children's activities are offered at the Kids' Corner each week. Local Master Gardeners periodically offer fun and educational gardening programs for children, utilizing the special Lil' Farmers garden. For more information, visit


Scenic Walks: Enjoy a stroll up Indian Run Road or Jordan Run Road in spring to look for rare wildflowers, or in autumn to enjoy the brilliant foliage.  Watch for the many small waterfalls along the creeks, too!



Bingo:  Enjoy a game of bingo at the Disabled American Veterans Post 117 ( at 6:30 on Saturday evenings, or at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (  at 6:30 on Thursday evenings.

Senior Citizens’ Activities: The Bellaire Senior Center hosts a variety of events and activities for the over-60 crowd, including free luncheons, games, seminars, exercise sessions, and outings.
